Christina James

Christina began her career as a teacher after obtaining her degree from the University of Manchester. She spent many successful years in this role, including holding positions as a Professional Mentor and a member of the senior management team. She extended her experience by working in various overseas locations as a teacher and private tutor for private schools and with international families.

As financial services are prevalent in Christina’s family, over the years she became fascinated by this world and made the decision to make the transition into the profession, consequently obtaining the necessary knowledge and qualifications needed to make this achievable.
After obtaining the Diploma in Financial Advice, along with the Pension Transfer Specialist Award, Christina commenced her career in financial services at Frenkel Topping as a Paraplanner. She joined Alexander Beard Group in 2019 and is now an Adviser for the Expat team, where her experience of living and working abroad provides a valuable insight into some of the intricacies that go hand in hand with living overseas.

Christina is married to Mark, a long-standing member of our Alexander Beard family, and has a daughter who is currently completing her PhD. Having managed to tick off many of the more adventurous items on her bucket list, Christina has recently begun the more tranquil challenge of learning to play the Piano.
